New Start and Espana!

So i have decided i am going to be better at blogging. Probably won't happen.. but i will try! I finished this last semester with not so awesome grades. BUT the directors say my sophomore spring and junior fall will be the hardest semesters so it's ok, right? Oh well. After the semester was out, i headed straight for Spain. For three weeks! It was so amazing. By the last two days i was definitely ready to head back to the Americas where i didn't have to wonder what was in the food. My poor friend April (a vegetarian) was miserable. They are OBSESSED with meat. Seriously. She would tell the waiter she didnt eat meat, so they would bring her a salad.....full of tuna. And they were so offended if you didnt eat everything! I couldnt do it for long. After the first night of legit spanish food, the toilet was my best friend. Ick. After that, i learned that my best bet was to stick with Burger King and Pizza Hut.
We ended up walking 10 miles AT LEAST every day. (May be an exaggeration) But my shins sure appreciated it when i got back. Supa strong. Smething else i am going to complain about, is my allergies! They were the worst they have every been ever ever in my life in Spain. I felt like my face weighed 82 pounds all day every day. But enough complaining.. The trip was absolutely amazing and im so glad i had a chance to go. We went to over 11 cities and got to perform and take classes in two conservatories. The dancers in the first one in Caceres (pernounced Cathares. Strange? Yes.) were really great at flamenco and not so strong in modern and ballet, and it was opposite at the one in Madrid. My director said the the conservatory we went to in Madrid was like the Juliard or Spain. So that was pretty neat. The buildings were soo beautiful and the little streets made me realize why NO ONE had a car bigger than a Ford Focus. Oh! And i was also the designated nail do-er. I probably did twenty sets of nails! Its ok though.. it gave me some practice. It was a once in a lifetime experiance and i am so thankful i got to go. I will never forget it. Thanks parents! :] Well here are some fun pictures of some crazy castles and the beautiful buildings we saw everyday. I love everyone and im glad to be back!!
