Our new home... well.. for a bit

So, Change of plans. No to Oklahoma, yes to Louisiana! Bryant has already left to go to Baton Rouge for work and I have stayed back for work myself. I haven't been doing anything really except for getting allergy shots EVRY DAY which leave me with really pretty bruises on the back of my arms. Anyway, I have to go up to Utah to watch an audition for company members for the studio I work for at the end of June. So after that I can reunite with my man friend. Bryant's description of our new home is, "sweaty nasty hot" Oh how perfect for my sweet frizzy hair. Can't wait!................ ugh.

Life as of late

The day finally came.. and Bryant and I are married! Holy the craziest process ever. It started with my mom coming up to Utah so many times a month to help find things for the wedding because i was still in school, (THANKS MOM) and it felt like it would never end. School ended really well an i can't wait to get my last year of school over with! Anyway, Bryant had to leave on the second, the day after our open house in utah to head o Kansas for work. Which sucked.. but it was fun to pick him up from the airport three days before the wedding. It made seeing him that much better. After moving everything out of my house in Provo, and taking it to Bryant's parents basement...and pulling a few muscles in the process... sorry mom. My mom and i were on our way to Vegas. We spent at least 3/4 of the next three weeks or so in the car running errands. Seriously.. it was awful. BUT.. definitely worth it. After picking Bryant up Wednesday night, we headed to the temple thursday night for me to take out my own endowments. It was so amazing to have family and Bryant there. I loved it. (Susan said now I'm a part of the club. Sweet :]) Friday was pretty relaxed. We had some finishing up to do on the lights and things but thats about it! I was so excited that night i am surprised i actually got some sleep! We woke up, got ready, and headed to the temple. On our way we got a phone call from my best friend, and maid of honor, Tiana's mom saying they cancelled Tiana's flight from New York and wouldn't be making it to the wedding. I absolutely had my cry, but just reminded myself that we were on our way to the temple to be sealed to each other forever and eternity... The session before couldn't have gone quick enough. I didn't start getting nervous until we got in there. Once it was done, Bryant and i talked to the sealer for a bit then he left to see if everything was ready. Those 5 minutes were the longest of my life!!!!! It was so amazing and i couldn't have asked for anything more. I am so grateful for my heavenly father and for blessing me with such and amazing family and an amazing husband. Husband. Husband. Husband..... Weird. The reception was stunning!!!! Thank you so much Marleah. I was so amazed by everything that was done! It was so beautiful and so fun. Thank you everyone who made it out. The day was Perfect. I still can't believe i am married. It hasn't sunk in yet... But I'm sure it will soon. I'll stop babbling for now and save the honeymoon for a different post :] MARRIED! Woo

En-Gah-Ged

Yep! We are Engaged! I am so excited to finally say that Bryant and I are engaged! (Even though it actually happened in january) But none the less, It is for real! Now for the much asked for story...

Bryant and I decided to go out to dinner Friday after school and work and maybe hang out with our friends Colby and Shauni later that night. After dinner, Bryant said he was getting pretty tired, so I called off our plans with Colby and Shauni to just go hang out at his house. Well... That Friday was one of the biggest snow storms this winter and we couldnt pass that up. Earlier in the last week we had planned on going up to American Fork Canyon and about half way up Bry realized he was going to run out of gas if we went any higher, so we flipped a B and turned around. So we decided to try the canyon again..... in a snow storm.... We packed up our gear and some sweet glow sticks and trucked up the road in his families Suburban. I'm not tryna drive my car up there... I don't do the canyon.. especially in the snow. ANYWAY... We got up to the canyon and packed on all of our coats and boots and set out into the black abyss with my blue, and his green glow stick. After marching around and trecking around in the hip high snow and writing notes in the snow and making them glow from underneath with our glow sticks (you should try it. It's Sweeet) for a while we decided to head back home. I sat in the car with my legs hangin out so my man friend could take off my big O boots.. not because im a snob.. but because I was seriously wrapped like the kid on a Christmas story and I couldnt reach them.. Theeeeeennnnn we started Smooooching..... and while we were smooooching, he grabbed my hand slowly and put my ring on! We were sill smoooching so I didnt even look at it forever cause I was so excited! He got on his knee and asked me if I would marry him... then he looked at my ring and I saw..

Side story#1: Bryant is majoring in architectural engineering and he has had to draw little houses on weird paper. He uses this purple tape to stick the corners of his paper down. We have always written cute little notes to each other and hidden them in places where we would later smile cheezily and look forward to writing one back later. Soo.. That is kind of a thing we do...

...I saw a little purple note wrapped around my ing that said,
"Will you marry me? [] Yes? [] or... Yes?" Perfection. Obviously I said yes and made our way happily down the mountain where I waited for service to call my mom because she threatened me with my life about being the first person I call. Yes a masta.

Side story#2: I am impatient. That is all. The week before he proposed I broke down and came and asked if I could just have my ring. "Can I have it? Do you have it? Can I just have it please?" I believe it went something like that. He told me he didnt have it yet and I believed him. And he was not lying. He got the ring Friday morning that was supposed to be mailed from Vegas a week and a half earlier which explains my breakdown, and proposed that night. So nice :]

Sorry for the epically long post... but it had to be done. We are so excited to be married in the Las Vegas temple on May 22, 2010. Wedding plans are coming along well!!!
